Club History |
Founded 1935. There is some confusion as to where and when Castlecomer was first founded. The 1906-7 edition of The Golfing Annual give it as Castlecomer Golf Club, Hon. Secretary, T. Ferguson, Castlecomer Co. Wexford. There is no listing in the Irish Golfers Guide from 1910 to 1916. The GUI records an affiliation date of 4th September, 1906, but nothing more is heard of until 1933 when the present club was founded. |
