Course Description:

Castle Hume Golf Course is situated within the grounds of the Old Ely Estate, surrounded by Castle Hume Lough and Lower Lough Erne. The par 72, Championship course which is, over 6,800 yards long, opened in 1992 and is just a few minutes drive from Enniskillen on the A46 Enniskillen-Belleek Road. The Golf Course is manicured to the highest standard. It sports over seven thousand trees and thirty bunkers. The course is built on well-drained limestone land and is a model of golfing elegance.

Whether you are a serious golfer or just a social player you will not fail to be impressed by the sense of well being that Castle Hume will give you.It is a challenge to play and a pleasure just to walk around. This golfing haven is set in beautiful parkland, where mature trees provide their own form of hazard. Bountiful nature has been most generous to Castle Hume Golf Course, with its bewitching display of lakes, ponds, streams, rivulets, islands, rolling fairways and curvaceous greens. The signature hole called Ely Island is an alluring Par-3 of 139 metres, with an accurate tee shot essential.

Green surrounded by Castle Hume Lake lapping water amongst the reeds and brilliant swans drifting on the still waters towards the sanctuary of the green.Castle Hume hosted the Ulster PGA Championship in 1996, won by Jimmy Hegarty and in 1997-98 won by Damien Mooney.
