| Located in the grounds of The Park Hotel just outside Virginia Town, this very scenic golf course is a pleasure to play. Straddling Lough Ramor the course has six additional tee boxes making for greater verity as you play the 18-holes. The fairways are tight and the course is awash with mature trees requiring accuracy and good club selection together with a delicate touch around the greens. A short course measuring only 4,134 metres with a standard scratch of 62 and a most unusual course record of 57 shot by G. Eagleton on 25th July 1993. The Ladies course measures 4,139 metres with a Par of 67 and a standard scratch of 65. Although the club has its own clubhouse, you will have to retire to the hotel for a drink and a meal, this is no bad thing as the hotel is a 3 with a AA award wining restaurant. |

| Members Achievements |
Lady Captain Mary Halligan and her Captain's Prize winner Bernadette Daly got through in the last regional qualifier of the Volkswagen-Irish Independent Lady Captain's Classic at Headfort Golf Club in September 2001. Mary playing off 27 and Bernadette of 26 posted a score of 35 points. They booked their place in the National Finals at Druid's Glen on the 1st of October. Prior to 2001: Virginia got to the quarter-finals of the Ulster Cup in 2000. |
